For 10 years, Hand Shakes with Heroes has brought communities across Central Minnesota together in a positive and meaningful way. What began as one person’s vision, created by Brian Duchene, was rooted in a simple but powerful idea: when people have the opportunity to meet face to face, shake hands, and have real conversations, perspectives begin to change. Today, this 10th annual event continues to bring families and first responders together in a fun, welcoming environment where connection happens naturally. Hand Shakes with Heroes is a free, family friendly event designed to create meaningful interaction between the community and the men and women who serve us every day, offering interactive experiences, opportunities to meet local first responders, and a space where relationships are built and trust continues to grow.
